• The performative video installation Take a breath is the result of the artist’s presence for ten days in and around the Danube in Lom, Bulgaria. Under water and without air to breathe, the artwork deals with the existential connection between human beings and the river environment. On the wall is a sketchy map of the Danube in the region around Lom made of dried flowers that looks a bit like a face.

The work was part of a show at Lom Art Gallery, where works of the Water Tower Art Residency were presented.
